Each image in this series holds a felt-sense of the essential threads that tie us to one another - absent of time and space.
This project began at a time in my life when I was facing the loss of my mother. I photographed family objects in nature, watching them shift into new forms with the elements and my lens. With each exchange, I had a glimpse of understanding that memories of our loved ones don't live in the past. Rather, they ripple forward into each living moment to shape and inform the present.
